Slow-Roasted Prime Rib
Herb-crusted and carved thick — a house favorite for the surf & turf crowd.

Whole Dungeness crab, steaming cioppino and surf & turf — served at the very end of Old Fisherman's Wharf, where the whole of Monterey Bay stretches out beyond your plate.

From our corner at the end of the wharf, the view runs uninterrupted across the water all the way to Santa Cruz. Boats slip in and out below you, otters drift past, and dinner comes with the best seat on the coast.
In 2016 we took over a legendary corner of Old Fisherman's Wharf — the former Nino's Wharfside — and reopened it as The Crab House: a seafood kitchen built around the day's catch and the recipes that have defined this wharf for generations.
What followed is honest, generous cooking: crab cracked to order, cioppino simmered deep and red, steaks off the grill, and a South-of-the-border streak of tacos and micheladas. Outstanding food and warm hospitality, at a price that still feels like the coast belongs to everyone.
